After weeks of anticipation, Strictly Come Dancing 2018 officially kicked off last night at the launch show – and the stars were looking pretty spectacular!
All 15 celebs in the line-up donned their sequins for the first time as they joined hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as well as judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli in London for the event.
And leading the way in the glamour stakes was Katie Piper, who looked stunning in a sexy pink frock.
Katie, 34, was all smiles as she modelled the sparkling outfit and danced alongside other stars.
But despite her smiles, the campaigner confessed to feeling very nervous underneath.
“Well that was nerve racking- thats the fun stuff out the way now the hard work starts! Training on Thursday #strictlycomedancing,” she told her Twitter fans later on.
Meanwhile Ashley Roberts also wowed fans in a skimpy blue number.
The Pussycat Dolls star, 36, couldnt hide her excitement as she boogied along the runway.
And newsreader Katie Silverton, 48, swapped her more formal work outfits for a dazzling red costume.
The mum-of-two seemed to be loving the festivities and was happy to strike a pose for the cameras.
Even Kate herself seemed surprised by her new look though and jokingly captioned a video clip from the launch on Twitter: “Who on earth IS that ?!!!!”

Fans were full of praise for the glamorous stars too.
“Looking good Kate, cant wait for the start of Strictly,” one commented, whilst another wrote: “Katie Piper is gorgeous”
And one added: “Absolutely stunning ladies!!!! Im sooo looking forward to this series!!!!!!”
This years line-up – which also includes stars such as singer Lee Ryan, This Mornings Dr Ranj Singh and documentary maker Stacey Dooley – found out during last nights show which professional dancers theyll be paired with. Exciting!
Unfortunately the rest of us wont get to see whos coupled with who until the programme airs on Saturday 8 September.
We cant wait to watch it!
