Susanna Reid has opened up about the medical reasons behind her recent weight loss.
Best loved TV personality Susanna Reid recently embarked on a fitness journey which ended with the Good Morning Britain presenter shedding a stone in eight weeks.
Today the 47-year-old revealed a doctors warning about her BMI, which led Susanna to undergo a fitness overhaul.
Speaking on todays GMB, the mother of three got onto the topic of her fitness with co-host Piers Morgan.
After Piers highlighted that Susanna has “never been happier”, Susanna offered her health overhaul to be the reason why.
Speaking of the weight loss, Susanna explained: “It was a combination of factors, but a doctor said I was at the top end of my BMI.”
She then added: “He said it might benefit me if I lost a little weight.”
Susanna has been looking as incredible as ever during the recent months.
Yesterday, the breakfast show host took to social media to share a snap of herself celebrating on the red carpet after winning three National Reality TV Awards.
Were sure its double victory for Susannas competitive spirit, as she also managed to beat her co-host Piers to win the coveted Best TV Presenter award.
Sharing a snap of the celebrations, Susanna thanked her followers for their support: “Mood #winning Did the treble! Thank you!! #nationalrealitytvawards”.
Susanna then listed her awards, which boast gongs in categories such as Best Talk Show, Best Celebrity Personality and Best TV Presenter.
Susanna signed off her post with the confirmation that shed be partying the night away: “Going to pay for this in the morning….”
