He was back in his element as he wowed judges with partner Stacey Dooley on the Strictly dance floor on Saturday.
But now the Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton has revealed theres something different about him since returning to the show this year.
The 35-year-old took to Twitter to respond to one follower who asked, “My mum was wondering, have you lost weight since last year? Cos she says youre looking very trim.”
To which he replied, “Bless her. I actually quit alcohol. Havent had a drink in 5 months. Could be that.”

And other fans of the show couldnt wait to congratulate him on his health kick, as one wrote back, “You look great anyway, as long as youre well and happy”.
“Awww well done you. I bet you feel better for it! Mind you, you always look great and very fit!”, said another, while a third added, “Thats amazing Kevin, you look great!”.
Kevins decision to ditch the booze comes after he announced his split from wife Karen Clifton back in March following nearly three years of marriage.
The pair have decided to keep on dancing together and even took to the ballroom floor for an extra special routine last week.
Karen said at the time, “As performers with our fans and as a couple with our family, we have shared so much, so no matter what has happened, we can continue. Things dont have to fall apart. Throughout the years we have had a good friendship, and that is a great base.”

Meanwhile, 36-year-old Karen – who is currently partnered up with former EastEnders star Charles Venn – recently opened up about needing therapy following the breakdown of their relationship.
“I had to realise that Im not a kid and it has taken me a lot of therapy and life coaching to get through this,” she told the Daily Mail.
Speaking about her split going public, Karen continued, “It was an intense time that prompted anxiety. I found the split very hard to deal with and I panicked.
“We werent perfect but we were a normal couple who began to have rocky moments and we didnt know how to handle it.”
