The Dancing On Ice line-up for next year is starting to take shape, and now a Loose Women star has been added to the bill.
Saira Khan will join the likes of Gemma Collins, Richard Blackwood and James Jordan when the show returns to ITV in January.
Saira was announced live on todays Loose Women as it was revealed she will be getting her skates and sequins on ready to compete alongside eleven other celebrities in the quest for glory.
“Im in it to win it!” Saira said of her next venture. “I thought, Im too old, I cant do it, Im going to fall. And my little boy said, have you heard yourself mum?
“He shamed me into it. Im doing this for my kids.”
However, it sounds like the show will be somewhat of a challenge for the 48-year-old Apprentice star as she added: “Honestly I cannot skate. Ive never been on ice skates.”
Earlier today, it was revealed that former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan and singer Brian McFadden would be joining the Dancing On Ice line-up too.
On joining the show, James, 40, said: “I can dance but Im a lot older than I used to be. People are going to probably say Ive got an unfair advantage but when I got on the ice I actually shocked myself how bad I was.
“I want to be able to impress Torvill and Dean more than anyone else, but Im a lot worse than I thought Id be.”
Meanwhile, Brian announced his involvement during ITVs Lorraine with a very special video message.
“Hi Lorraine, yes the news is true! I am going to be doing Dancing On Ice, 2019,” the 38-year-old explained.
“Im very excited. Ive already been practicing out in the back garden on my rollerblades, and my mammy says Im a one man Torvill and Dean. Watch this space!”
