The breakdown of Lisa Armstrongs 11-year-marriage to Ant McPartlin has played out in the public eye since they first announced their split in January this year.
And while they look closer to finally signing the divorce papers, it seems Lisa might be set for even more heartbreak.
In exclusive images obtained by Woman, Ant, 42, appears happy and healthy as he enjoys a stroll in London with his and Lisas beloved dog Hurley, alongside his new girlfriend and former PA Anne-Marie Corbett.
The pair were seen kissing and laughing together, just weeks after going on a romantic break to Florence. And it looks like the couples relationship is going from strength to strength, since they began dating earlier this summer, leading fans to debate the reason behind their happiness…
Pregnancy rumours
Sorry to say this, but she looks pregnant…, one fan commented on social media, while another said, If Ants new girlfriend is pregnant, and she certainly looks it, it will mean even more pain for Lisa. While a third wrote, She looks pregnant!!!
Ant has made it very clear in the past that he would like to have children. I want a couple of kids. Id be happy with whatever, to be honest, he previously confessed. Seeing all the kids on [Britains Got Talent] has made me more broody than ever. Im so excited to have my own.
However, the presenter has also been very open about his and estranged wife Lisas battle to have a baby, admitting, Lisa and I would love to have kids. Were trying. Its tougher than you think when you get a bit older.
Although Lisa, 41, hasnt openly spoken out about her desire to have children, it would arguably be yet another blow for her, if Ant started a family so quickly following the break-up of their marriage.
Messy Divorce Battle
The timing of the rumour mill couldnt be worse, with recent reports claiming divorce papers filed by Lisa cite adultery. Theres no suggestion that Ant cheated, but since he was still married when he began his relationship with Anne-Marie, 42, Lisa has every right to do so.
Lisa has undeniably struggled to come to terms with the demise of her marriage. The Strictly make-up artist was still wearing her wedding ring up until August and has liked a string of tweets, including one in July about not giving up on marriage.
Lisa has also publicly shared her pain over Ants choice of girlfriend on social media, claiming she was friends with Anne-Marie, and only found out about their romance through the press.
The star responded to messages of support on Twitter, writing, Yeah my friend and our PA who I let into our home.
She also recently revealed her heartbreak at seeing images of Ant and Anne-Marie enjoying a romantic holiday together, as she responded with a crying emoji to a fans tweet that read, Seeing those pictures of Ant hugging his girlfriend and looking smitten must be so painful for Lisa. Really feel for her, its not nice to see your ex with someone else, but to see it all over social media… must be twice as hard.
Letting go
Any separation is tricky, but to have it played out in public and see your ex move on so soon is a bitter pill to swallow.
Lisas holiday in LA is said to have helped her start to heal. Enjoying some time out with her parents and former Deuce bandmate, Craig Young, the make-up artist has focused on herself and started living a healthier lifestyle.
It also seems as though shes getting some fun back into her life, as shes been spotted on nights out with friends and returned to work on Strictly.
But with Lisa recently hinting that shes lost hope and with mounting speculation from fans that Ants new girlfriend could be expecting, hopefully her progress wont be derailed. Keep your chin up, Lisa!
