When booking your next holiday, you dont have to spend a fortune.

Searching for a deal in a flight sale is an easy way to cut down on costs.

Ryanair often runs discount events for holidaymakers, including its popular May Madness promotion.

And now, the budget airline has announced it is slashing the price of travel for a limited time.

Today (October 17), the airline is cutting the cost of one million seats.

Passengers will have the opportunity to snap up tickets for as little as £5.23.

Unlike many other flight sales, this one applies to various airports across the UK.

Edinburgh, London Stanstead, Birmingham and Derry are among those included in the offer.

The cheapest fare is from London Stansted to Belfast International, which will set you back just £5.23.

Other flights that cost less than £10 include Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen and Brussels.

Ibiza, Alicante and Tenerife are also likely to be popular destinations, as you can fly there for £31 or less.

If youre looking to travel further afield, fares to Morocco start at just £16.23.

The deal will run until midnight on Friday, October 19.

A Ryanair spokesperson said: “This week weve slashed fares to £30 off return flights across our European network for travel between November and March, so theres never been a better time to book a winter break or spring getaway.

This amazing offer on over 1 million seats will end at midnight (24:00hrs) on Friday, 19 October so customers should log on quickly and bag a bargain break today.”

If you missed out, theres no need to panic.

Here are six money saving tips to help you bag a bargain on holiday.
