Whether theyre worrying about crashing, or fretting about a door swinging open, its easy to let scary scenarios run through your head.
To ease passengers nerves, many aircraft workers have been opening up about their profession.
The latest employee to provide his inside scoop on flying is Brett Manders.

The Jettstar pilot spoke to the Daily Mail about a tragic situation he found himself in.
Brett, who has been working as a commercial pilot for 10 years, revealed he had experienced a death on board.
If this scenario occurred, flight attendants are advised to comfort other passengers on the plane.
They are also required to close off the area, while offering support to any family members or loved ones who may be affected.
The pilot explained: “The cabin crew are trained to use all discretion possible.
"They would screen the deceased person from the other passengers.”

Brett isnt the only travel expert to talk about his experiences in recent months.
Previously, pilot Patrick Smith revealed what happens if a plane engine fails.
Surprisingly, aircrafts are able to continue functioning if a motor breaks down.
They are designed to glide in this situation, which allows time for the crew to steer you to safety.
In the unlikely event that both engines fail, the craft can continue travelling forward for around 60 miles.
