Im A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is fast approaching, and a new host of celebrities are preparing themselves for the jungle.

The reality show will see stars face their biggest fears in the middle of the Australian jungle.

This year the series will undoubtedly be a bit different, as Holly Willoughby will step in Ant McPartlins shoes to present alongside Dec Donnelly.

However, we will still return to the Australian camp to see how the celebs cope with Bushtucker Trials and and Dingo Dollar challenges.

Where is Im A Celebrity 2018 filmed?

The filming location for the ITV reality show is Springbrook National Park in Murwillumbah, New South Wales.

The Im A Celeb location has been in Dungay Creek, Queensland since 2003.

The first season in 2002 was filmed near Cairns, Queensland, but it was moved the following year.

Technically its more of a rainforest than a jungle, located south of Brisbane, and is surrounded by mountains and forests.

The jungle set is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site called the Gondwana Rainforest, which spans 15,310 acres.

The stunning location is also known as the Scenic Rim.

Because it is a rainforest wild animals such as snakes, frogs and crocodiles naturally live in the surrounding area.

Last year the set was updated to treat stars to a bath as well as a jungle shower.

The actual camp is a disused banana plantation, and is only accessible by a four-wheel drive.

Sadly, it is not possible to visit the exact set where Im A Celebrity is filmed.

However, there is a dedicated campsite called The Settlement which you can stay at.

Here you can camp, but permits and fees are needed beforehand.

The Settlement is the only camping area in Springbrook National Park.

The campsite itself is “defined and suitable for tents, camper trailers and camper vans”.

From here there is a short walk to the top of Purling Brook Falls

The walking track links up to the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk.

For more information you can visit the Springbrook National Park website.
