Strictlys Giovanni Pernice breaks silence on Faye Tozer romance rumours with VERY telling video

Its fair to say Strictly Come Dancing has been causing almost as much drama off-screen as it has on-screen this year.

And the latest couple to find themselves in the middle of a media storm is former Steps star Faye Tozer and her professional dancer Giovanni Pernice.

It all started when the BBC pairing were spotted celebrating Fayes 43rd birthday with a cosy lunch in Newcastle earlier this week, causing the rumour mill to go into overdrive.

In the photos – obtained by The Sun – hunky Italian star Giovanni seemed to touch his celeb partners cheek and wipe food away from her mouth.

But now 28-year-old Giovanni has addressed more talk of that dreaded Strictly curse by poking fun at himself in a hilarious video.

Taking to Instagram, the professional dancer shared a clip of him and Faye eating dinner together in a restaurant.

Addressing the photos, Giovanni can be seen leaning over the table to remove a leaf from the side of Fayes mouth before she looks at the camera and says thanks.

And Strictly fans clearly found the whole thing pretty funny, as one wrote, “YEEEEESSS Savage!”

While a second commented, “this is brilliant ,” and a third added, “Lmao!!!! Amazin…haters gonna hate ”

And Giovanni isnt the only one whos spoken out about the rumours, as Fayes husband of nine years Michael Smith has also responded in a hilarious way.

Sharing a selfie on Twitter, software engineer Michael can be seen with a few grains of rice stuck to the corner of his mouth as he wrote, “Wheres @pernicegiovann1 when you need him? Help me out @fayetozersmith”.

Meanwhile, Fayes hubby was there to support his wife as she wowed the judges with her sensational Paso Doble during last nights Blackpool extravaganaza.

The pair received an amazing score of 38, with judges Bruno Tonioli and Shirley Ballas even giving them a perfect 10.

And Strictly viewers were clearly just as blown away by the dance, as one wrote on Twitter, “Crikey @Faye_Tozer and @pernicegiovann1 what a dance! Hotski! Amazingly theatrical, sexy, and Giovanni in see through clothes.”

While a second added, “Just had to rewind #Strictly because @Faye_Tozer and @pernicegiovann1 dance was so frigging hot.”
