For years destinations like Costa Del Sol and the Algarve have topped Brits' travel lists, but it seems we're getting more adventurous.
While it's no secret that we love a bit of sun, sea and sand on our holidays, more far-flung destinations are starting to pick up.
With the end of another year fast approaching, you might be looking for inspiration for 2019.

So which new destinations are Brits loving?

On The Go Tours have analysed data from the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) 2018 Tourism Highlights Report and crunched the numbers from the last decade to reveal the fastest growing destinations for UK tourists
Their research revealed Romania is the fastest growing holiday destination for UK tourists. The southeastern European country is ringed by the Carpathian Mountains and is best known for the forested region of Transylvania.
The number of Brits visiting the country has increased by a whopping 638% between 2007 and 2017.
Romanias UK tourism figures began to rise after 2008, with figures increasing from 48,000 to 70,000 visitors in just a year.

Lithuania ranks in at second place of the fastest growing holiday destinations, having seen a 187% growth in British tourists over the last decade.
While Morocco, which ranks in at 10th place, has seen a 38% growth in tourists in the last ten years.
On The Go Tours internal data has also shown a 44% increase in their booking numbers from 2017 compared to 2018, supporting the fact that Morocco is becoming an increasingly popular destination for UK tourists.

Italy may seem like its always been a popular choice for Brits, but bookings have increased by 25% in the last decade.
Other destinations such as Poland, U.A.E, and Nigeria have also seen a significant increase in UK tourists over the past ten years.
