A DIVER explored the bottom of the Santa Fe river in Florida – and made a terrifying discovery.

Some divers in Denmark found a safe with some amazing items inside it last week.
But some finds are dangerous – as YouTube channel DALLMYD found.

In the clip, a diver – who is identified as Jake – is in the Santa Fe river, Florida, US.
The water is very murky as the explorer scans the bottom of the river.
As the torch scans quickly, he spot something terrifying.

The diver screams out as the shape of a gun appears on the riverbed.
Jake breaks the weapon free from the moss to examine it before returning to the surface.
“I dont know much about pistols,” he says.
There is a lot of rust on the gun as the YouTuber is left stunned at the find.
Jake then decides to call the police, suggesting the weapon was involved in a crime.
Since being posted yesterday, this clip has been viewed over 140,000 times.

This is not the first time strange things have been spotted beneath the water recently.
A terrified diver filmed a giant shark last week.
And a camera was dropped 1,300 metres below the surface last month.
