With the cold, dark nights drawing in, now is the perfect time to book an exotic escape for next year.
If you're a massive foodie you'll probably consider the cuisine before booking your next break.
Alpha Travel Insurance has analysed the number of Michelin stars and fine-dining restaurants in the worlds major cities to find the top dining destination.
Their research has named Tokyo the fine-dining capital of the world, with 229 Michelin stars and 1,758 fine-dining restaurants.
With traditional Japanese dishes including sushi, tempura and sashimi, Tokyo is a top choice for experimental eaters.

Paris, the second largest city in Europe, came in second place overall with a total of 113 Michelin stars and 756 fine-dining restaurants.
While London came fourth overall for the total number of Michelin stars with a total of 73 stars – behind Osaka with 99 stars.
Europe was the continent with the most Michelin starred restaurants. London, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome and Paris were named the top five European cities for a gastronomic adventure.
The French capital has the highest number of Michelin stars per square mile, with almost three per square mile.
