It's fair to say that it's been a rather tricky 12 months for Ant McPartlin's ex-wife, Lisa Armstrong.
The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist has dealt with the breakdown of her marriage, as well as countless stories about her private life splashed all over the tabloids.
But now it seems things really are looking up for 42-year-old Lisa – as shes reportedly landed an amazing new role in a brand new TV show.
According to The Sun, Lisa is preparing to step out from behind-the-scenes and take her place in front of the camera, in a new makeover TV show.
She will allegedly be helping give women in need a makeover – to help them find their confidence once again.
And according to reports, shell be in very good company on the show. She is said to be joined by royal-approved hairdresser Richard Ward for the series – who does the hair of both Kate and Carole Middleton!
A source told the publication, “Lisa has amazing experience in her role and she comes across so well on TV.
“She jumped at the chance to be involved and this show is right up her street. The show is all about helping women find their confidence and feel empowered.”
It sounds like the perfect gig for Lisa!
The show is apparently still in the development stages, meaning we likely wont see it on our TV screens for some months yet.
But Lisas co-stars have been sharing behind-the-scenes snaps of filming – hinting it may be coming up sooner than we think!
The new role looks to be the perfect next step for Lisa, who has been Strictlys head make-up artist for years now. Previously, there had been rumours that Lisa was going to take her career to the next level and bring out her own make-up range – but the star has not yet confirmed the speculation.
It also comes off the back of a difficult few months. Lisa and ex-husband Ant were granted a decree nisi in just 30 seconds back in October, ending their years long marriage in seconds.
