Share market update: Nifty Realty index trades flat; Unitech up over 2%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.04 per cent up at 244.25 on Thursday with its components trading on a mixed note.

Shares of Unitech (up 2.44 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.82 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 1.43 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.83 per cent), were the top gainers in the index.

Sunteck Realty (down 0.71 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 0.59 per cent), DLF (down 0.44 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (down 0.30 per cent) were trading in the red.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 61.55 points at 10,905.75 while BSE Sensex was down 203.58 points at 36,280.75.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Indian Oil Corp, ONGC, Vedanta, BEL, SBI, Ashok Leyland and Axis Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
