Heavy snow is causing hundreds of flights to be cancelled and delayed in Europe this week, and the weather forecast still looks bleak.
Seven people have been killed as a result of a treacherous winter storm kitting ski resorts in Germany and Austria.
The freezing weather has led to multiple Alpine towns being evacuated, with more snow on the way in the coming days.
Blasts of cold wind will continue to batter Germany, the Alps and the surrounding countries this week.
Travel in Austria, the Netherlands, Greece and other countries was also affected.

Central and Eastern Europe were hit by dramatic snow fall after cold air arrived from Scandinavia and western Russia.
Germany and Poland are especially at risk of heavy snowfall today.
Periods of heavy snow is expected to fall across southern Saxony, Bavaria and southern Baden-Wurttemberg – all leading to widespread travel condition.
The cities of Stuttgart, Munich and Dresden can expect 3-6 inches of snow.
Meanwhile, the highest points of eastern and southern Germany, Switzerland, northern Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic can expect 1-3ft of snow by Friday morning.
Snow and wintry conditions is also expected to fall across Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
BBC Weather issued a red warning for parts of Europe.
The forecaster said: "We have red warnings across southeastern parts of Germany and much of Austria for further snow."

Below we have compiled a list of flights that may be cancelled across Europe:
The Netherlands
Amsterdams Schiphol Airport experienced delays and cancellations on Tuesday due to a storm.
The airport tweeted: “Weather update: strong winds are causing delays and cancellations today.”
On Wednesday the airport issued an update: “Due to a favourable change in wind direction, more flights may be able to resume operations.”
Today operations at Schipol have recovered and the storm has passed.
However, you should still check the status of your flight to make sure.
The current delay status at Schipol is “very low”, according to flightstats.com.
Germany
Germany have experienced many delays and cancellations in the last few days.
The stormy weather caused 120 flights from Munich Airport to be cancelled, and many more delays.
Lufthansa said: “Due to prolonged snowfall up to and including Thursday, January 10th, Lufthansa Group flights to and from Munich are severely impaired. Please check the status of your flight before you travel.”
There is likely to be more cancellations and delays today, partly due to a security personnel strike at Cologne, Dusseldorf and Stuttgart.
At the present time 623 flights have been cancelled as a result, according to German news agency dpa.
These are 350 at Düsseldorf, 142 at Stuttgart and 131 at Cologne-Bonn.
The Foreign Office warns: “Many flights are delayed or cancelled due to security personnel strikes on Thursday 10 January at Cologne, Dusseldorf and Stuttgart airports. Check with your airline before travelling to the airport.
“According to local reports, there is heavy snowfall and a high risk of avalanches in southern Germany at present.
“Due to heavy snowfall in Bavaria and more expected, the infrastructure has been affected. You should check your journey before travelling.”

Austria
If you are travelling to Austria you could also experience some flight cancellations or delays.
The Foreign Office warns: “Continued heavy snowfall is forecast in the Austrian Alps over several days from Tuesday 8 January.
“This could cause travel disruption and heightened risk of avalanches in some areas. For the latest travel information, contact your transport provider and/or tour operator.”

Switzerland
Most flights are operating normally, but there are some cancellations and delays from Zurich Airport.
The best things is to check your flight before travelling.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Office warns of “danger of flooding in lower regions”.
The warning continues: “Many ski areas and hiking routes have been temporarily closed. For further information, you should contact the relevant train companies, local authorities and your tour operator. “
Flights could be delayed or cancelled in other European countries. The best thing to do if you are worried is check the flight status, or contact the airline.
