Facing the Shinobi Hunter can be tricky in itself, but, before you can even take on the mini-boss, you will want to clear his battle arena of other enemies.

Luckily, weve put together a handy guide to help you stack the odds in your favour.

Initial approach – Enshin is all ears and spears

After crossing the bridge at the foot of Hirata, youll notice a single watchman brandishing a torch in front of you.

Stealth kill this enemy, then quickly grapple to the nearby tree and wooden tower building to get a vantage point over the battle arena below.

Here you will be able to familiarise yourself with the location of the upcoming fight, as well as allow any attention from other warriors die down.

In order to save a lot of time (and health) during the fight, you need to be as quiet as possible and focus on stealth one shots in the build-up. Running in guns blazing is a much riskier strategy.

Drop down into the flowers below the tower making sure you crouch upon landing. Slowly, make your way to the archer who is stood just in front of the flower patch.

Make sure you only ever attack when Enshin has his back towards you, otherwise he will notice you break cover and your stealth strategy will be compromised.

From this initial kill, return to the tower where you can now jump across to the opposite side of the arena. Using the flowers to stay hidden, slowly approach the two soldiers facing each other.

First, stealth attack the soldier with his back to you. This is likely to alert the solider in front of you and, as you deal with him, you will likely create enough noise and commotion to draw the mini-boss to you.

In this instance, sprint back to the tower, grapple to the top and hide while you wait for Enshin to lose interest. Once he relaxes and continues his patrol, its finally time to take him on.

Once Enshin has resumed his patrol route, you can once more jump into the flowers and approach the shinobi hunter. If you crouch and take things slowly, you should be able to deal the first deathblow to the mini-boss in the form of a stealth attack.
