A couple sparked concern by posting a “foolish” Instagram picture.
Travel bloggers Camille and Jean shared a picture of themselves hanging out of a train carriage.
Pictures of them in Ella, Sri Lanka have since gone viral – while also sparking controversy.
While some branded the move “dangerous”, others described the snap as “amazing”.
Camille and Jean posted the jaw-dropping photo to their Instagram page, @backpackdiariez.
In the caption, the German pair said the image depicts “one of (their) wildest kisses”.
They added: “We couldnt think of a better picture to describe our couple:
“1. Blind trust in each other, no matter what.
“2. Madly in love
“3. Always having the need to do something different with our lives
“4. Living on the edge (sometimes a bit too much)
“5. Usually on the run
“6. Having fun whenever we can
“7. Organised chaos.”

The image soon went viral online, racking up 31,400 likes in 48 hours.
Furious Instagram users berated Camille and Jean for doing something so “foolish”.
One responder remarked: “How desperate for Instagram likes you have to be to risk your lives like that?!
“First, you NEVER open the door of a moving train (Im surprised it was even possible, there should be locking mechanism so that the conductor unlocks the door once the train has fully stopped).
“Second, you NEVER lean out of a moving train.
“For gods sake, basic train safety rules!
“And posting pics like this just encourage other fools to try. Very very foolish.”
Another said: “This is so dangerous.”
Despite the backlash, some seemed unfazed by the couples photoshoot.
One commenter gushed: “This is the most perfect photo ever.”
Another said: “Wow this is such an epic shot.
“Definitely in love with your passion.”
A third added: “Omg you guys are so cute. A real life fairytale.”
