Prince Harry has said he “cant imagine life” without baby son Archie.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who wed in May of last year, welcomed their first child together on May 6.
On Tuesday, the proud new father visited patients and their families at Oxford Childrens Hospital and gushed over his new son.
A mum of two, whose three-year-old son is in remission after being diagnosed with testicular cancer, revealed Harry made conversation with her after spotting her holding her baby daughter.
“Harry asked me if she was over the stormy period as babies are supposed be grumpy for the first 10 weeks – and she is,” mum Ida Scullard said.
“He said hes getting used to the baby and how Archie has fitted into family life.
He said he just feels part of the family and he cant imagine life without his son.”
Harry, 34, also told another patient that the newborn – full name Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor – had kept him up all night.
Christine George, whose 17-year-old son is having chemotherapy, revealed: “He [Harry] said he had all this organised, but had a sleepless night last night – not the ideal preparation for his first day at work.”
Pictures show the royal being presented with a little teddy bear for Archie before he headed inside to speak to the young patients.
