Police have begun a murder inquiry after a man was shot dead in Wembley, northwest London.
Police were called to Harrow Road at 8.10pm on Friday evening following reports of a shooting.
Police and armed officers attended, along with the ambulance service, who found a man, believed to be in his thirties, suffering from critical gunshot injuries.
He was taken to a hospital in north London, but died shortly after.
The man's next of kin have been told and a post-mortem will take place.

A crime scene remains in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
No arrests have been made.
