A father who died after being attacked outside the pub he ran has been described as a "true gentleman".
Mark Winchcombe passed away from his injuries following the assault in Neath Abbey, South Wales, at 12.55am on Sunday.
Two 14-year-old boys, and four boys aged 16, have been arrested over the 58-year-old's death and remain in custody.
Mr Winchcombe, a father of one, ran the Smiths Arms pub with his wife Christine and was a popular landlord with locals, Wales Online reported.
Tudor Williams, who runs a car dealership opposite the pub, told reporters: "It's a tragedy. He went out to find out what the noise is about and he's paid with his life."
