A baby was hit by eggs in a drive-by assault that police believe was racially motivated in Worcestershire.
A mother and nine-month-old child were crossing the road by the Shrub Hill Retail Park in Worcester when an as yet unidentified man threw eggs from his vehicle.
Neither was seriously injured, but the child's face was left red, with police saying that the assault "left the victims understandably shaken".
Police have appealed to the public for information, saying that they believed the motivation for the attack was race-based.
"While no arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing and we are currently reviewing CCTV footage to try to identify the vehicle involved," said Sergeant Paul Smith from West Mercia Police.
