A chronically ill man who suffers with breathing problems is being repeatedly fined because the roads near his home are covered in yellow lines.
Paul Morgan, 57, has piled up £520 in parking fines in the year since moving into the Bristol cul-de-sac near Hanham high street a year ago.
His emphysema has meant he finds it difficult to always move his car before three-hour parking limits kick in.
He said: There have been so many tickets and I have been so stressed about paying them that some of them have gone up to £100.
These parking tickets have built up so much. Ive got in a lot of debt. Its crazy. I am on benefits and I cannot afford this.
I know of at least four disabled people on the street who have been struggling with this.

Im happy to pay a reasonable fee for a parking permit, but my tickets should be void because they are not fair. Im very angry about it.
He added: I have to move my car from outside my bungalow each day at 11am.
I sleep more than most people. Sometimes I set a time to wake up to move the car and I sleep past it, and end up with a £30 ticket.
When I try to park it in one of the spaces at the end of the street, they are almost always occupied.
People who dont live in the street are parking there and walking to Hanham High Street to do their shopping.
