The mother of a young man killed by a stoned teen driver said she doesnt want to live anymore as she broke down in court giving evidence about her devastating loss.
Zoe Jordan told Gloucester Crown Court the day my son died, I died after her son Jordan Maxwell, 21, was killed by dangerous driver Jake Buckle, 18, in a car crash last year.
Buckle, 17 at the time, was detained for four years after driving Mr Maxwell while under the influence of cocaine and cannabis at speeds of up to 96mph in a 50mph speed limit.
After failing to negotiate a gradual bend in Gloucester on April 22 2018, Buckle crashed into trees and then fled the scene, leaving behind his fatally injured friend who had been thrown from the passenger seat.

The defendant later told police the crash had been caused after he fell asleep at the wheel.
When he woke up and saw Mr Maxwell, he panicked and fled, but handed himself in to police hours later.
Jordans mother told the court: I am devastated and heartbroken and dont want live anymore. The day my son died, I died.
Jordan was my special boy. I loved him so much. I cant imagine life without him.
He was a rock in the family. His death has devastated us. As a mother its been hard.
She then turned to Buckle in the dock and asked: Why did you do this? Why did you leave him? We took you in, you were his friend. You have destroyed everything. Our family has been destroyed.
She added: I keep getting thoughts that my boy was lying in the road calling for me and I wasnt there and I hate myself for that.
You didnt even call an ambulance and stay with him. I just cant believe you did this. You havent shown any remorse for what you have done.
A statement from Douglas Maxwell, Jordans grandfather said the family had been completely overwhelmed by the response of so many of his friends, many of who had attended Jordans funeral.
He said: We are trying to cope without him. There is no more laughter or corny jokes, just memories.
