Former Emmerdale star Leah Bracknell has died three years after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, her manager has said.
She played Zoe Tate, British soap's first lesbian character, in the show for almost 16 years from 1989.
After quitting the role in 2005, she went on to appear in other TV shows such as Judge John Deed, Casualty 1907 and Doctors and also took stage roles, starring in both Gaslight and Strangers On A Train.
