Gusts up to 80mph are forecast for parts of the UK on Saturday, with a warning of potential flying debris and large waves.
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert for wind and rain for London and southern England, East Anglia and South Wales.
There are also rain warnings for eastern and northeastern Scotland covering both Saturday and Sunday.
The strongest winds are most likely across coastal southwest England and towards Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Sky News weather presenter Jo Edwards says the storm will bring with it some "very turbulent conditions".

She added: "Inland gusts are likely to reach 55 or 60mph, with some southern and southwestern coasts seeing gusts of up to 80mph.
"Such wind strengths can be dangerous, whipping up large waves and lifting unsecured objects considerable distances.

"This is particularly important this weekend when there'll be a huge number of planned bonfires and firework displays with many more people outdoors than one would expect at this time of year.
