Applied Graphene signs up Maroon Group as US and Canadian distributor

Applied Graphene Materials (LON:AGM) said it had an exclusive agreement with Ohio-based Maroon Group.to distribute its graphene coastings in the US and Canada.

The agreement also gives it a direct route into the coatings and polymers sectors in North America, Applied Graphene added.

Maroon Group has distributed specialty chemicals and ingredients across both countries since it was formed in 1977.

As well as collaborating on new developments, Maroon will introduce Applied Graphenes graphene dispersions technology, Genable into the market.

Applied Graphene has agreements already in place with other companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Greece, Italy, South Africa and Japan.

Adrian Potts, Applied Graphenes chief executive, said: "Maroon Group has leading expertise in additive sales and customer service, which is essential to support sales at this early stage of the graphene market's development.
