A woman's body has been found in a royal park near the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Kensington Palace home.
Officers were called to Kensington Gardens in west London just after 7am on 29 August where they found a woman unresponsive, the Metropolitan Police said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, a spokesman added.
Her body was found in the Round Pond, which sits in front of Kensington Palace, the Daily Mail reported.
The Cambridges and their three children were away at Balmoral that day, holding a socially-distanced reunion with the Queen, following the coronavirus lockdown.

Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank also have a residence at the palace. It is not known if any members of the Royal Family were there that day.
