Samsung almost always reveals its next generation of flagship Galaxy devices in February or March but that could change in 2021. Rumours are rife that the new Galaxy S21 will be unveiled in January of next year and with just a few weeks until a possible launch is revealed this new device has just been unmasked in a major leak.

Official looking videos of the S21 Ultra 5G have been published online by Android Police and they give fans a very good idea of what to expect next month.

Although the whole phone isn’t revealed in the short videos, the clips do show the unique triple-rear camera system which appears to sit inside a curved panel. This camera casing then seems to blend in around the sides of the device – it’s very different and certainly not like anything we’ve seen before from Samsung.

One video shows this panel in a glossy black colour whilst another reveals a more bling gold design for the new camera bump.

The other thing that you can notice from the teaser is that the S21 Ultra looks set to get a curved display. It’s thought that the standard S21 will get a flat OLED panel rather than one which wraps around the case.

Of course, the final thing to note is the name which appears at the end of the video with the words S21 Ultra 5G appearing on the screen. This almost certainly confirms that the next phone won’t be called the Galaxy S30 as some had predicted and it will, of course, get 5G data speeds which isn’t a surprise considering almost all of Samsung’s 2020 phones now includes this technology.

There are no specs released in this latest leak but there has already been plenty of speculation about what could be included.

It’s thought that the S21 will get the latest Snapdragon 888 processor in some regions and will also feature speedy 120Hz screen technology.

Another rumour suggests that the Ultra will be compatible with Samsung’s S Pen stylus and this more premium device will also get an improved 108MP main camera sensor.

One thing that might prove conversion is that Samsung is thought to be following Apple by removing the charger and headphones from the box.

As reported in a post by GSMArena, ahead of its rumoured January 2021 release the trio of Galaxy S21 devices have been certified for sale in Brazil.

And the certification for the S21 devices reveals that they will not be coming with a bundled-in charging brick or headphones. A USB cable is expected to be included though.
