A 27-year-old woman was horrified to find a green worm lurking in her McDonalds meal.
Disha Vasyani was just about to tuck in to her Chicken Legend with spicy mayo when she noticed the unwanted creature lurking in the lettuce.
She had just taken a shot of insulin for her diabetes and the sudden drop of blood sugar left her feeling weary as she complained to staff.
The supply and planning consultant from east London said she couldnt stomach any solid food afterwards and doesnt think shell be visiting the fast food chain any time soon.

After hitting the shops around Londons busy Oxford Street on August 27, Disha decided to take a break at a McDonalds opposite Tottenham Court Road station.
She says she was disgusted to find an unexpected addition to her meal and poked it around to check it was definitely a creepy crawlie.
Recalling her horrifying discovery, Disha told Metro.co.uk: I took some pictures and just to be sure I showed it to somebody who was sitting beside me who was also disgusted by it.
By this point she had already injected her insulin, which she has to do before every meal.
