A teenager has been arrested after several people were injured in a stabbing in a McDonalds in Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police were called to the fast food outlet in Harpurhey Shopping Centre at about 2.35pm after reports of a stabbing.
Officers have put a cordon in place and say that initial enquiries indicate several people have been injured.
The incident is not being linked to terrorism.
A teenager was arrested on suspicion of a section 18 assault and has been taken into custody, police said.

The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) told Manchester Evening News a male, age unknown, was taken to hospital.
The statement added: "Two rapid response vehicles and an ambulance attended the scene in Harpurhey at around 3.40pm.

"Paramedics took one person to hospital by ambulance – a male patient who has been stabbed in the leg."
According to the ambulance service, no one else was treated at the scene or taken to hospital.
Videos shared online purporting to be from the scene show spots of blood on the floor and police cars outside the restaurant.
Damilola Soyoye, a nurse, was at the restaurant shortly after the stabbings.
