There aren’t many water parks in the UK.

Go to Cyprus or Spain…or really anywhere warm, they seem to be readily available – but over here, we’re sorely lacking in inflatable fun.

But that won’t be the case for long because a giant floating water park is coming to Liverpool in May, and it’s going to be sticking around all summer.

The ‘adrenaline-fuelled’ 92m inflatable assault course will be stationed at the Albert Dock and will be made up of 50 inflatable obstacles.

Open to anyone over the age of eight, the dock is going to be a sea of free-fall slides, trampolines and rafts.

‘We are planning to make a big splash this summer and the team have worked really hard to create a truly unique experience for visitors to Albert Dock,’ says Tim Woodhead, creator of Adventure Dock.

‘We have specifically designed the course to create an attraction that the whole family can enjoy and to get more people out and about on water.’

If you’re nervous about freezing to death, fear not – there’ll be wetsuit hire onsight, as well as beach hut changing facilities and food stores (best taken advantage of after running around to avoid any unfortunate, erm, incidents).

Tickets are already on sale, costing £20 per person or £17 for groups of four or more.

The park is due to run until October 2018.
