When it comes to the various weather icons on your iPhone, you’d be forgiven for finding their meanings a little foggy.

Whether you’re locked in a bone-chilling cold snap or sunning yourself on Miami Beach, the weather app aims to keep you updated on temperatures and weather phenomena.

Checking your iPhone can provide handy info, particularly considering how changeable UK weather is.

And there’s a subtle difference between scattered and heavy snow.

Now all you need to do is wrap up warm/ pack sun cream/ find the umbrella that isn’t broken and head outdoors!
