IRB InvIT Fund reports Rs 232 cr net profit in FY18

NEW DELHI: Investment trust IRB InvIT Fund today reported Rs 232.42 crore net profit in the fiscal ended March 31, and declared distribution of Rs 3 per unit to its investors.

The Board of Directors of the Investment Manager has declared 4th distribution of Rs 3 per unit, which comprises of Rs 2.20 per unit as interest and Rs 0.80 per unit as return of capital in their meeting held on April 30, 2018, an IRB InvIT statement said.

According to the statement, total distribution made by the fund is Rs 10.55 per unit (including 1st distribution of Rs 1.55 per unit, 2nd distribution of Rs 3 per unit and 3rd distribution of Rs 3 per unit) for the year ended March 31, 2018.

The IRB InvlT Fund was registered as an irrevocable trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 on October 16, 2015 and as an infrastructure investment trust under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014 on March 14, 2016.

The units of IRB InvlT fund have been listed on both the stock exchanges on May 18, 2017. Therefore, corresponding figures of the previous year are not available for the Fund.
