Former Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson has paid sweet tribute to her Strictly beau Gorka Marquez in an adorable Instagram post, revealing the moment she first fell for the professional dancer.
The 32-year-old former Strictly contestant only confirmed her relationship with the hunky dancer following the end of last years series – despite rumours that the pair had been together for some time.
But now, Gemma has revealed exactly how the pair struck up their friendship – and later relationship – in the most ADORBS social media message.
Sharing a picture of herself and Gorka on her Instagram, Gemma confessed that the pair first got close at the Strictly launch party.
She said, #tb to mine and @gorka_marquez first night out together! Whod have thought a tipsy taxi ride after the Strictly launch party would lead us to where we are now.
Im so glad that on that evening you asked for my phone number, and Im thankful you got me that much needed 2am pizza 
got me back to my hotel and handed me over to the girls safely and rang me in the morning checking Id made my train back to Manchester! (I hadnt)

Gemma continued, but hey! It was fun, and it lead to our friendship which months later, lead to our partnership. The rest they say is history and I cannot wait to see what the future holds with you Gorks!

Its thought that the super-cute Strictly couple are currently tackling a long-distance relationship, with Gemma primarily based in Manchester and Gorka in London.
However, it seems the pair are able to spend plenty of quality time together, regularly posting social media updates of their workouts and cosy nights in.
