Ben Shephard shocked Good Morning Britain fans today when he revealed his surprising role on US sitcom Friends.
The ITV star made a brief appearance in an episode called The One Where Rachel Is Late all the way back in 2002 where he played his real-life role as a GMTV reporter.
Brushing shoulders with the likes of Matt Le Blanc and Matthew Perry, the 43-year-old was seen on the red carpet trying to get an interview as Joey Tribbiani took Chandler Bing to his first film premiere.
But blink and you might miss him, because its only the the back of Bens head which can be seen as he stuck out his microphone out to get a chat with Joey.
Despite co-host Charlotte Hawkins looking pretty impressed with Bens confession, the telly star joked that he must have offended Matt Le Blanc – who plays Joey – as he can be seen hitting his hand away.
Ben explained: “No ones talking there…
“You can see Matt LeBlanc put out his hand and say whos that freak.”
The 43-year-old also said how he yelled GMTV, GMBs former show name, during the scene just in case viewers didnt catch him.
Meanwhile, Ben sent viewers wild when he hinted hes been asked to take part in this years Strictly Come Dancing.
Unfortunately, the star also revealed he wont be following in the footsteps of co-hosts Charlotte and Susanna Reid who have both taken part in the BBC dance show.
He said: “This is the first year Id be asked, the very first year Id be asked but I cant do it because I do a football show on Sundays.”
Joking about the dreaded Strictly curse Ben – who married wife Annie Perks in 2004 – added: “One of the rumours I understand is that theyre struggling because lots of people are nervous about the curse of Strictly.
“Thats absolutely the only reason I was going to do it. After 25 years with Mrs S and shes like that as well oh just go.”
