In a few weeks time, Coleen Rooney and her family will head to the States to join footie father Wayne Rooney, as he prepares to start playing for US team DC United.
The couple will be shipping their whole family, sons Kai, eight, Klay, five, Kit, two, and newborn son Cass, over to Washington, where they will live permanently while Wayne plays football for the American side.
And while the Rooneys are without doubt excited for their big move, Coleen confessed that there are a few things that she has found difficult to come to terms with leaving behind.
She told The Mirror that she is not looking forward to taking their eldest son Kai out of his much-loved Cheshire school.
The mum-of-four confessed, “That was the one thing I was gutted about – having to take him out of school, as we love it. Thats the hardest thing,”
“Obviously, we can try and get him back into it when we eventually come back to England.”

Coleen also admitted that telling her mum about the big move Stateside wasnt easy – and that getting to grips with the reality of the situation is tough.
She said, “It was an emotional conversation with my mum. Its hard not being able to pop down the road – an eight- hour flight is a long distance. You cant just nip over for a cup of tea.”
However, 32-year-old Coleen has revealed that the family are having a great time getting to know their new city, before they officially move.
On her Instagram, the mum-of-four shared a picture of Wayne and son Kai, writing, We have had a great time in Washington…. sightseeing, house hunting, viewing school and of course seeing @WayneRooney.
Looking forward to our family move real soon

Its not clear how long the family of six will be over in Washington. But it seems the Rooney clan are looking to settle in in a big way.
Its just a few months since Coleens husband Wayne was left disgraced, after being arrested for drink-driving. The footballer was also caught driving home another woman.
But despite the controversy, Coleen vowed to stick by her man in an emotional Facebook post – and it seems the couple have been working at their relationship ever since.
