Roxanne Pallett has got engaged to her steelworker boyfriend Lee Walton just one week after meeting him.
The former Emmerdale actress, 36, and Lee, 40, have opened up about their incredibly unconventional relationship, revealing they opted to get matching tattoos on their ring fingers as Lee didnt have a ring for the spontaneous proposal.
Since then Lee has saved up for a diamond ring and proposed again after Roxanne returned home after her near-death car crash in July.
The couple initially found each other through a mutual love of Elvis Presley and chatted online every night in the summer of 2017, before meeting up for the first time in December.
Lee told OK! magazine: “I was searching #ElvisPresley because Im a massive fan and I saw her [Roxannes snap in Graceland] post.
“I recognised her from when I used to go round to my parents place every Friday night. My dad is a big Emmerdale fan so hed always have it on, and Roxanne stood out. Id see her in magazines and she always caught my eye.”

Explaining how they first met up, Roxanne added: “When I walked into the pub and saw him I thought, oh my God, youre real. I just flung my arms around him and it was like wed been together forever. We were kissing within five minutes!”
Lee added: “I couldnt look her in the eyes because she was the most beautiful thing Id ever seen.”
Just one week later, Lee proposed.
He explained: “She was getting ready and dancing and I said: I could get used to this. Move in with me?

“She agreed and on our first night living together I was looking at her, thinking, God I love you. And then I just said: Will you marry me?'”
Roxanne continued: ”We were engaged within a week of meeting! I know it sounds crazy, but I knew my heart.
Its a big year for Roxanne as, not only has she got engaged, but shes also signed a huge £750,000 deal to be on Celebrity Big Brother.
A show insider told The Daily Star : “Bookers have wanted to sign Roxanne for a long time. Theyve finally got their way, but for a top-rate fee.”
CBB is due to begin this Thursday.
