This is the incredible moment a baby who was born with half a heart smiled for the first time.
Charlie Douthwaite is 13-weeks-old and is currently recovering from a lifesaving heart transplant operation he underwent before Christmas.

Proud mum Tracie Wright says Charlie is making slow but steady progress since the operation at Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital in November.
The 30-year-old mum said: ‘It was amazing to see that smile.’
Charlie was born on October 2, weighing 6lbs 5oz, and was the smallest baby in Europe waiting for a heart.
He had hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a condition where the left side of the organ is underdeveloped and cannot work properly.
His aorta was also narrow and had a hole in it while there was another hole between two of the chambers of the heart.
Tracie added: ‘We can’t describe what Charlie means to us he is the most special and precious baby boy.’
