Davina McCall just released her 15th exercise DVD last month, so its fair to say shes one of the fittest celebs we know.

And if youre in any doubt, just take a trip over to her Instagram account where youll catch a glimpse of her rock hard abs and seriously toned legs.

But despite inspiring us all to get healthy this New Year, unfortunately 51-year-old Davina isnt immune to body-shaming. And now the telly star has spoken out about receiving abuse from online trolls.

Admitting how shes affected by negative comments, Davina told Metro, “I want to promote health and fitness and thats why I get slightly irked with people going, Im too skinny because I am really healthy.

“I mean, I go to the doctors once a year for a little MOT and every year they go, Bloody hell, youre amazing.

“And, in fact, Ive probably got healthier. Like my cholesterol is better, my blood pressures amazing, my BMI is perfect, Im within the normal range, Im not at the bottom of the range for all those naysayers. So that bugs me because Im a very healthy person.”

As an advocate for body positivity and empowering women, the presenter has also confessed she hopes shaming will soon become a thing of the past.

“Im hoping that its not going to [stick around] because I feel like this whole body shaming is a new thing and Im hoping that it will go like its come; it will just sort of peter out and get boring because actually theres enough shaming going on in the world,” she continued.

Hi. It is the beginning of the summer . And this is a ? selfie. And it probably wont be the last . No apologies. Because I cannot quite believe I am posting pictures of myself in bikinis still ?I get asked all the time how many times I work out a week ??. 3 times minimum … 4 ideally.. 45 mins to an hour . Cant run at the mo so I do a mixture strength and cardio … i have so much to be grateful for… my kids are number one but right behind them at no 2 is how my fitness journey has made me feel . If Im groggy, sluggish, negative it always sorts me out … if you are starting … start slow.. set small goals.. achievable goals.. you will get to where you want to be. I did. And if I did. ( after years of yo-yo dieting and binge exercise) You can. #ownyourgoals #fitness #motivation

“We just dont need to do that to each other.”

She then finally added, “Everybody just needs to look after themselves and stop judging other people.”

This comes after Davina faced criticism after she posted a photograph of herself wearing a bikini last summer, with many followers branding her unhealthy.

However, that hasnt stopped the mum-of-three getting into a two-piece and showing off her incredible body as she shared THIS incredible photo over Christmas.

Yay you lucky people … its dvd time ( Boxing Day #powerboxandtone ) which can only mean one thing. Gratuitous pictures of me in a bikini … Dont care what you think ???? I feel good in my skin. And leading a healthy life is a huge part of why I feel body positive. I dont judge anyone for the life they choose or the shape they are . Life is too frickin short … if you hate all of this stuff then seriously unfollow me. But if you are shy Lycra wearer or a new mum or just really struggle getting out of the house or just need to crack out 10 mins quickly before work ( I did morning gratitude this am and then abs and arms….) then download the dvd. I do it all the time … short workouts .. or 1 long one if u fancy a challenge?? hugs this Christmas ? you are lovely ? and you @sarahblendfit are particularly lovely … thank you for being part of my life . ❤

She unapologetically wrote beside it, “Gratuitous pictures of me in a bikini … Dont care what you think ???? I feel good in my skin. And leading a healthy life is a huge part of why I feel body positive. I dont judge anyone for the life they choose or the shape they are .

“Life is too frickin short … if you hate all of this stuff then seriously unfollow me.”
