The trio – trade sales support manager Lyndsey Barron, development manager north, Karen Delorme, and business development manager southern England Hayley van der Steen – have signed up to Freedom Climbs Snowdon on April 9.

Together, theyre hoping to raise £500 for the charity, which supports travel industry employees suffering financial hardship.

“We have been practising climbing hills so we are hoping we can reach the summit without any hitches,” said Barron. “We have received good support and we hope between us to make £500.

“The money raised will go towards Abtas LifeLine charity, which awards financial grants to travel industry colleagues suffering real financial hardship caused by life-changing medical conditions, bereavement, disability and domestic violence among other things.

“Anyone wishing to help us achieve that bit more will be most welcome.”

Teams and individuals from across the Freedom Travel Group will take part in the hike, which has so far raised more than £1,700 of its £2,500 target.
