A dad-to-be who tried to force his teenage girlfriend to miscarry by forcing detergent down her mouth has been jailed for 11 years.
Harief Pearson, 22, googled how to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy and what can heroin do to an unborn baby? after his then 17-year-old girlfriend refused to have an abortion.
He enlisted the help of his cousin Kydie McKenna, 22, and a 16-year-old girl who cannot be named for legal reasons.
The gang repeatedly kicked the girlfriend in the stomach, back and face as she was held against her will for hours at Pearsons home in Harlesden, north west London.
They also ripped off one of her nails and poured alcohol over her bloodied face and poured detergent down her mouth when she asked for water.

The girl was dumped in the streets after Pearson starting worrying his mum would come home.
The baby survived the horrific attack and is due to be born next month.
The court heard how when the victim broke the news of her pregnancy over the phone to Pearson, he replied: You know what to do, I am not ready to have a kid.

James Thacker, prosecuting, said: She told him she wanted to keep the baby and wanted him to be part of their lives.
Mr Pearson told her he would get someone to kidnap her.
After spending the night at his house in December last year, the victim tried to leave the next morning after discovering Pearson was in a relationship with the female attacker, who was 15 at the time.
Pearson snatched her phone from her hand and told her she could not leave, shortly before McKenna arrived in a balaclava and started to choke the victim.
