A 21-year-old woman has died after being attacked in the street in a suspected case of domestic violence.
Emergency services were called to Fitzwilliam Street in Huddersfield at 6.12pm on Thursday but Ms Fields was pronounced dead at the scene, West Yorkshire Police said.
Paul Crowther, 35, from Birstall, was charged on Sunday with the murder of Bethany Fields and with possession of a knife.
In their tribute, Ms Fields's family said: "The life of Bethany, who was a beautiful, talented, ambitious, intelligent, kind, giving, and loving daughter, was tragically taken from her.
"A daughter, who any parent would have been proud of, much loved and respected by all – family, friends, work colleagues and fellow students."

The family said Bethany "had a bright future ahead of her" and "was musically gifted".
