Holly Willoughby, 39, has appeared on This Morning for many years, as well as Celebrity Juice and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! She has said “everybody knows” how she achieved her amazing new look.
So how did she? Holly herself has been reluctant to discuss weight loss in the past.
She has said: “It’s a personal thing for me, and I think people get obsessive with it.”
She added, during the Sunday Times interview: “Everybody knows what leads to a healthy lifestyle, but it’s not up to me to give you a blow-by-blow account of what I’ve eaten that day. It’s not helpful, and it’s not what’s important.”
However, experts and insiders have given some insight.
The source told The Mirror: “Holly is determined to keep her new-look body so she eats chicken, carrots and hummus.”
The presenter manages her sweet tooth with a clever trick, dried fruits.
“You’ll never see her without a pack of mango either, to satisfy her sweet tooth.
“She says she’s discovered a ‘new me’ and won’t be giving up anytime soon.”
A pilates trainer, Lynne Robinson, director of London-based Body Control Pilates, explained she worked with the star on her exercise routine.
She said: “I worked with Holly for several months, teaching her privately at her home once a week.”
Explaining to The Sun, Lynne said: “Holly had postnatal mat work classes which concentrated on strengthening and toning her core.”
Former This Morning presenter Fern Britton has also lost a lot of weight.
The star shed five stone and shrank from a size 22 to a 12, an incredible feat.
Back in 2008, Fern took the decision to undergo a gastric band operation.
“I had the gastric band for health reasons,” Fern said.
“My cholesterol was high. My knee joints were starting to hurt. I wasn’t able to run.
“I was approaching 50 and I thought: ‘Do you know what? I’m going to be different when I’m 50,’” she told the Mail Online in 2011.
Singer Adele’s weight loss of seven stone has inspired fans too.
The Someone Like You singer shed almost 100lbs.
She is said to have followed the Sirtfood diet to slim down.
The first stage of the diet involves eating just 1,000 calories a day and drinking green juice.
