Susanna Reid delighted Good Morning Britain fans after appearing to go public with new romantic interest, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish – whom she accompanied to a football match over the weekend.
The pair were initially linked after an insider told The Sun of their “real chemistry”.
“Susanna and Steve are exclusively dating. Its extremely early days but theyre having a lot of fun,” the source shared.
“They have known each other for several years through their connections to Palace. Over the summer they started hanging out more and fell for each other.
“They have a real chemistry, a wicked sense of humour and both are real family people.”
After appearing to confirm the reports with their very public appearance, it is now being alleged that 47-year-old Susanna owes it all to her matchmaking co-host Piers Morgan.
In fact, its believed that Piers introduced Susanna and Steve over two years ago – having shared a snap of their initial meeting on social media in November 2016.
Posing alongside a bevvy of famous faces including Susanna and Steve, Gary Lineker, Richard Bacon and Frank and Christine Lampard, Piers captioned the snap: “Brits in New York.”
The two-month romance is Susannas first following the end of her 16-year relationship with Dominic Cotton, who is the father to her three sons.
However, avid GMB viewers may have already predicted a new romance, after Susanna appeared to hint at her relationship with Steve on a recent edition of the breakfast show.
Yesterday, Piers quizzed his co-host on the romantic speculation whilst live on air – and she didnt exactly shut the speculation down…
Speaking with You magazine, Susanna recently shared: “Im back in the game. Im definitely open to dating again. This is the right time.”
Well be watching this space for any romantic developments from our favourite TV lady…
